AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE: Apprentice Helicopter Engineer

HeliSupport is one of NZ's leading helicopter engineering companies.  We are a certified maintenance centre for Safran Helicopter Engines and Airbus Helicopters, and are CAA Part 145 Approved.

We are currently seeking a full time, Apprentice Helicopter Engineer to join our team based at Wanaka Airport. 

Ideal candidate must be:

• Have previously completed or currently completing NCEA Level 3 or 4 in Aeronautical Engineering through NMIT, Air NZ or equivalent. 

• Be familiar with CAA Rules and Safety Guidelines including SMS. 

• Have shown commitment and started to successfully complete CAA PART 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licencing exams. 

• Be able to show high industry standards. 

• Demonstrate a high level of oral and written communication skills.

• Be proficient in English and be computer literate.

• Be and effective team player with a positive can-do attitude. 

• Have a current driver’s license. 

•
