AIRCRAFT PAINTING & REFINISHING: Entry Level Painter

We are looking for an Entry Level Painter to join our busy Refinishing Department. This is a great opportunity for ongoing training and professional development for a candidate willing to learn from our experienced team leaders. A committed team player who fits in well with our culture here at HeliSupport will find encouragement and training to upskill and learn the trade of precision refinishing and aviation livery.

The role would include but not be limited to:

• Component and aircraft surface preparation.

• Masking of components and aircraft.

• Paint removal of components and aircraft.

• Paint application of components and aircraft.

• Paint workshop clean and tidy.

• Honest and trustworthy.

• Enthusiasm to upskill and assist when required.

• Effective team player.

• Work cooperatively with other departments.

• Awareness of chemical safety with an ability to read and understand safety data sheets.

• Ability to create a safe culture and environment, be conscious of hazards and safety precautions.

• Applicants for this position must have NZ residency.
